about

'hurtling through the speakers on the musical equivalent of a flamin' hotrod with the pedal to the metal and that middle digit fully extended to a rousing 'Fuck You'- www.uberrock.co.uk

' I'd not heard of them before, holy fuck !, I have now'. Scott Sorry, Sorry and the Sinatras / Wildhearts

Self styled punk rock n rollers Vincent and the Onepotts serve up a rollicking debut album that mixes an old school punk approach with leather, tattoos, bikers and rockabilly across a blistering thirteen tracks. Out of Birmingham (UK) and led by the Reverend Vincent himself on sawdust vocals and frazzled guitars he is ably assisted by thumping bassist Kev and pounding drummer Tone which all equates to an incredibly tight trio that are high on attitude, adrenaline and the all important ingredient that is so often found lacking - humour.

This is an uplifting album that begs to be enjoyed at loud volumes and you can't help but be impressed; if The Ramones and Dr Feelgood had ever teamed up to record an album then chances are it would have ended up sounding something like Devil's Eye. Highlights include the title track, "Five Days Six Hours Nine Minutes" and the fantastically titled "Rockin With Jaysus". And just when it seems as if the heads down, all out assault will run throughout the gentle strumming of "Forgotten Friends" offers a poignant reminder of those we have lost. www.Seaoftranquility.org
